The Struie Course is the second 18 hole course of the Royal Dornoch Golf Club and whilst it is not in the same league as its Championship compatriot it is still a very enjoyable round of golf and certainly worth the time if you are playing the Championship course.
Instead of the main course working its way north of the clubhouse, the Struie course heads south and slightly more inland. Neighbouring the caravan park and working down on to flatter lands with a bit more of a parkland feel about it.
If the main course has given you a battering this is a welcome alternative. Much gentler on the average golfer with many holes working back on themselves and still very well maintained throughout.
