Golspie, where to start. This course almost ruined me mentally, I kind of lost the golfing plot here and I probably need to go back to truly appreciate the course as looking back I think it is actually a really good test of your golfing ability.
A true mix of holes with the first stretch a links setting, hugging the coastline and I even managed to find the beach on one of the holes. You then move onto a beautiful heathland stretch, although maybe a bit narrow for my liking at the time. I spent way too much time in the heather looking for balls before moving onto a final stretch of parkland, where by this stage, my marbles were well and truly gone and I wasn't appreciating it.
A course I definitely need to revisit with a now, more calmer demeanour on the course than the younger more petulant version of myself on the golf course.
