What an awesome golfing establishment. Sadly we couldn’t get onto the championship course as there was such limited availability even booking months in advance. Instead we played the Valley course (2nd course) and it did not disappoint. Still an unreal experience of hills rolling through the dunes on the coast of Northern Ireland. Even on the second course there was a starter to guide us off onto the first hole which gently eases you into it. The maintenance of the course was immaculate, the greens and fairways in near perfect condition. Whilst not being too long, it is a pretty challenging course, plenty of rough to contend with, although not being too long it’s tough to get out of.
Aside from the course itself we had unlimited balls on the range and a practice, putting & chipping green which was better than most greens on many of the other courses I have played. For £50 please play the second course, it is an absolutely bargain! Not to mention you could easily blow some cash in the pro shop which has some great stuff in there.
For a second course you don’t get much better than this. For £50 it is an absolute bargain just sad we couldn’t get any availability on the championship course. One day!
