This has got to be the most spectacular front 9 you’re ever likely to play weaving through high dunes right next to the coast. The first tee is an awesome sight, an elevated tee box with the beach running down the right hand side and a drop down to the first hole with dunes in the background. The second hole I think is my favourite so far. Another elevated tee box, looking through a narrow passage between two high dunes at different distances and then once you’re down on the fairway an uphill approach to a green nestled in the foot of a dune. Truly spectacular! The holes continue to weave through these huge dunes. The 3rd is another elevated tee to a par 3 with the green nestled in these dunes.

It continues like this until hole 9 where it then opens out a bit more, still a really awesome back 9 but not quite to the level of the front. The back 9 is the original course whereas the front, I believe, was designed by a member of the club, which makes it even more special!

The course overall was in fantastic condition and the hospitality is first class. We walked but they offered to drive us to the range on a buggy with a complimentary bucket of balls and there was also a starter on the first tee which is always a great touch. Could not recommend playing her more highly!

Wow, unreal course! Phenomenal from 9 weaving through high dunes. Back 9 opens up a little more so isn’t as picturesque but still great!
