I started playing golf here and it’s a magical golf course. I might be a little biased. Truly do believe  his is one of the best courses in SA if not Africa, as voted by Top 100 Golf. I think it has struggled in recent years with floods and the greens had some troubles with some sort of growth.

Recommend getting a buggy here because it’s a really undulating course, lots of elevated tees boxes/greens so it’s a walk to get around the 18. The quality of the course is first class and you can tell why as there are greenkeepers on most holes, watering and tending to the course. There’s a fair amount of bush around the course so with that and the undulations you have to pick your spots carefully.

There are a bunch of picturesque par 3’s especially the 15th which is on top of a mound, you don’t want to be missing the green there. The approach to the clubhouse includes 2 par 4s over big undulations with the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the background.

For what you pay this course is ridiculously good value, especially travelling from Europe.
