This is genuinely one of my favourite places to come and play golf. It is no more than your local council course but it is a 5 minute drive from my parents and offers a round for £20.

The course isn't amazing, it's not pristine and is nestled between a couple of farms but just offers a lovely, relaxing place to play golf. A good challenge but not too difficult and I think it is the perfect course to come and practice on. There are a good chunk of holes that back onto each other on the front 9 and then some more interesting and testing holes on the back 9, no less so than the par 3 16th which is a 170m hole to a raise green, big mound behind the green but 2 bunkers short protecting it.

At 5,300 for a par 71 it is quite short so again provides a nice gentle round of golf. They have a driving range and a putting & chipping green without the pressure of being at a more esteemed member's club.
