Lutterworth is a pretty cool course conveniently located near the motorway but is quite well protected from the sound of the passing cars. When you look at the yardage it doesn’t make for a long course, but they make it tricky by many changes in elevation like the first and last holes for example that you hit down into a valley and then contend with a significantly elevated green.
It is a very interesting course with many holes you really must think about your shot. The condition of the course was also pretty good, and the greens ran pretty true, not too fast.
Sadly, there was no noticeable driving range, there is a net and a putting green but maybe could do with more practice facilities. I think there may have been a driving range but most likely one you have to bring your own balls.
We paid £25 for our round which I think was pretty good value for money. I’d definitely play there again and hopefully in the future the clubhouse will be rebuilt as it had very sadly been burnt down by some arsonists.
