My dad and I tried to play here years ago but got rained off after 2 holes. Ironically the first two holes we played here this time were in the pouring rain but luckily on this occasion it cleared up and the rest of the round was in great conditions.
Despite the heavy rain throughout the day the course had cleared quite well, and the greens had drained very well. Glad we came back and played because it is a very pretty golf course. The practice facilities are probably what let the club down. There is a net and a driving range, but it is short and requires the use of your own balls and there is a putting green in front of the clubhouse but it’s not the biggest.
Played here on a Tuesday afternoon and the pace of play was pretty good, managed to get round in under 4 hours and at £30 it is very good value for money
