After playing the Victoria course in the morning, we sat down for a bite to eat at the Victoria clubhouse before moving on to play the Millennium course which is just across the road. Amazing to have so many golf holes in such a small area with the Laguna course right there as well.
It is much more of a Portuguese parkland style course with pine tree lined fairways. I thought it was a really fun course to play. There is very little water on the course and the fairways differ in width. Your main enemy here is going to be people’s back gardens and there are some stunning houses along the course.
There are a bunch of nice holes with little undulations in the fairways adding a bit of challenge and intrigue. You’re not likely to lose many balls here as the trees tend to have wasteland underneath. It wasn’t quite as in good condition as Victoria was but it is one of the cheaper Dom Pedro courses.
For €120 I don’t think the course is at the type of level you’d expect for that money. As with all the Dom Pedro courses, the practice facilities are very good. Lovely driving ranges with areas to hit off the grass and good chipping/putting greens.
