Played this course for the first time this summer with my old man and it’s a good course without being anything extraordinary. The first 4-5 holes lack a bit of imagination as they come back on each other but once you get out onto holes 6 and beyond there’s a bit more variety in the course. More hills, tees where you drive down or across a valley and then greens where you have to club up for approaches.

It’s a parkland course without water so you shouldn’t be losing many balls here. General condition of the course was good, fairways were quite well looked after and there were good quality greens. On some of the holes on the back 9 there on the fairways there were small, not quite hills but bumps running up the green which I understand were for irrigation but made playing off these bumps quite awkward, and these bumps ran along the width of the fairway so there was no avoiding them. Played here on a weekday afternoon and had no issues with the speed of play, there weren’t many people on the course. The club has a driving range and a small chipping putting green to get warmed up.
