I think this is a pretty underrated course, it’s not one of the pristine ones in the area but has a lot of character and interesting holes. The course is set in a valley with the clubhouse up on a hill. The 1st and 10th holes you work your way downhill and then return on the 9th and 18th. The most interesting part of the course in my opinion is from the 11th where you start to work in and through a foresty area with one of the coolest tee boxes you’re likely to see. The 14th tee is cut back into the forest and you tee off in what feels like a rainforest.

The course is pretty reasonably priced and looks like it has a pretty good community. I played there on Sunday and there were loads of locals enjoying a few beers on the terrace which overlooks the holes going down the hill.

The pro shop was great, loads of stuff in there. Only downside was there is no driving range but there is a net and a decent size chipping/putting green.

I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.
