Picture golf in the Sahara desert. This place was hotter than the sun in the summer heat. What was actually not a bad design was overshadowed by a course that unfortunately doesn't get much water or maintenance in the summer months.
Rock hard, dry fairways allowed for balls to roll miles and often on occasion into what would be creeks in the winter months but thankfully us being bone dry we were able to play from them.
With a bit of care and attention it would be a decent course for tourists and holiday makers alike but by the looks of it is has now been closed. Hopefully they'll be able to resurrect it and bring it back to what looks like was a very respectable course back in the day.
Note: the pics are not mine, I have gathered them from various sources
