Whilst on a friends holiday in Granada and on a quiet day sat around the pool, a bunch of mates decided to look at the different golfing options in the area and we stumbled upon Baviera. A very pleasant resort course with all the facilities you want for holiday golf. After picking up our rental set we headed to the driving range where we were met with lovely practice facilities and a great little bar to have a coffee & a beer later on. Much needed in the hot Spanish sun.
The course itself is what I can imagine a Spanish style parkland course to be like. Fairways lined with palm trees and the odd water feature here and there but with most of the water dried up.
The clubhouse is set up on the hill and with the first tee up there you slowly work you way down on to the flatter part of the course with many holes working back on each other.
For €75 a round it is perfectly good enough to play on your holidays to have a nice gentle round without breaking the bank and it was very well looked after as well.
