Golf complex of 4, 9-hole courses. Played here quite a few times and always enjoy coming back. All the courses are in fairly good condition and offer a different challenge. Mostly parkland courses but there’s a good amount of water so easy to lose balls on some of the trickier holes. It’s definitely one of the more affordable courses around Amsterdam and you can generally play at a good pace. Shout out to them for hosting Ukrainian refugees after they’ve been displaced by the war.

Living in Amsterdam, De Purmer is one of the courses I play most often and it is a nice course to play and not overcrowded like some of the others nearby.

The course itself has an interesting mix of holes, nothing too long, some narrow and some wider and not many that are dead straight. The biggest issue we have is playing during the colder months, given the area that it is in you lose a lot of balls going into the ground but as the course and this area is generally below or at sea level it is very difficult to have good drainage.

I do feel that the price is high (€65) for the quality of the course but I think that is generally the case in the Netherlands.
