What an experience! Thank you for the Dutch & Leading Courses for putting on a fantastic event! As you pass through the gates you get a sense of what a day you’ll be in for. The valet service is a nice touch, although it does seem a bit much as they only park it 20 meters away. The clubhouse is really awesome, there’s separate little rooms for entertaining and a really cool sort of billiards room (just without the table), you could see many a dram of whiskey drunk in there. The locker rooms are superb, just immaculate and so many nice touches.

The course itself can be quite tough, the day we played on the tees were moved a bit further forward so it wasn’t too bad but without many trees around it can get pretty windy.

The fairways and greens were in perfect condition and there’s some tricky holes especially the 17th which isn’t that long of a par 4 around 350m but very narrow with bush on the left and water on the right.

The only real downside is the scenery is okay at best. I get it’s the Netherlands and it’s not near a coast or have mountain backdrops but even like some higher mounds in the fairway to make hidden shots would, in my opinion, add a lot to the course. Truly could be a world class venue. It really is a fantastic place to play golf and privileged to have gotten the opportunity to play there. I would love to come back one day.
