Zeegersloot has the feel of a local, welcoming club. I played on a relatively wintery day with the first few holes in thick mist that made it impossible to see the trajectory of your ball but this cleared soon after and we could enjoy our round.

It has a nice charm to it and I liked the two contrasting 9 holes. The first 9 is relatively flat with many dog legging holes making it interesting to play, this 9 is owned by the club so the quality of the course was a little better than the back 9. Having said that I actually preferred the back 9. I was informed it’s built on an old waste side hence the hilly nature to it and there are a few holes with elevated tees/greens which you obviously rarely see in the Netherlands.

Overall it’s a nice place to play for a casual round but for €65 I’m not sure the green fee is justified.
